Study Local in West Coast, Circular Head, and King Island

About Us

Supporting Regional Learners Across Tasmania

Study Centre Circular Head is part of the Regional University Study Hubs network, created to make higher education more accessible to learners living in regional and remote communities. Proudly supported by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, our centre provides a local, campus-like environment where students can study, connect, and succeed—without having to relocate.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:

To empower students across Circular Head and surrounding regions by providing free access to quality study spaces, technology, support services, and pathways to education and training.

We exist to make learning achievable for everyone—whether you’re beginning a university degree, upskilling through TAFE, returning to study as an adult, or exploring new training opportunities.

Our Story

Study Centre Circular Head is an initiative of Study Hub West Coast. Tasmania’s first Regional University Study Hub established in 2019. Since then, our network has expanded to include multiple hubs across the state, helping even more learners across training and education close to home.

With strong community roots and a commitment to improving regional education outcomes, we continue to grow, evolve, and provide more opportunities for students every year.
